This is why Monday should be a National Holiday. Thanks, Obamacare.
At a Television Critics Association panel yesterday, Fox Sports President Eric Shanks said that one of the back up plans to a blizzard on Super Bowl Sunday would be playing the game on Monday night.
“The game can be played on Monday. We can try to get the game in on Saturday if there’s a hundred year, three-day storm coming Sunday.”
It makes more sense to play the Super Bowl on a Saturday Night. It let’s Football fans party one last time before thinking about your awful NBA team or how your NHL team will end up blowing it in the playoffs… or just how many days there are until the 2014 Draft.
Either way… they have a plan. I really hope it snows.
