NJ Transit made this gigantic map to help people coming to New York (and New Jersey) get to MetLife Stadium. When MetLife first opened it was a nightmare. I didn’t think NJ Transit was prepared for the amount of people taking the train but in the last few years it’s slightly better.
My advice is to take the bus from the PABT and forget the train.
My favorite quote comes from The Daily Mail over in the UK.
The general consensus says Super Bowl XLVIII is in New York.
But really, it’s seven and a half miles away from Manhattan at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey – across the Hudson River and reachable only by those who can navigate a confusing rat’s nest of highways and train lines.
To help the 400,000 tourists expected to descend on New York and New Jersey in just two months, New York’s Metropolitan Transit Authority and New Jersey Transit have teamed up to produce a special Super Bowl transit map.
