What You Missed This Weekend

  • So the writers of Homeland decided to make the final two episodes of the season fucking amazing. I think most of the season has been pretty boring and could have done without Carrie in the hospital for like 5 episodes but the payoff was good and this Sunday looks like it’s going to be good.
  • ¡no soy fiesta!… Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered a concussion along with his torn MCL and ACL on Sunday.(Pro Football Talk)

  • Some were calling this past Sunday the best day of football ever. The Giants lost so I have to disagree with that statement. Although seeing all the games played in the snow this weekend was absolutely fantastic. Fox created a cool graphic in the Detroit/Philly game where you could see the field markers on television. The picture of the weekend belongs to Megatron and his facemask full of snow. God I hope it snows for the Super Bowl.

  • Julia Louis-Dreyfus talks Veep and Seinfeld (Vulture)
  • Tim Meadows is really pissed off that he wasn’t included in SNL’s Brasky skit this past Saturday. Looks like the Ladies Man won’t be around to try and have a conversation with a Girl you wish you hadn’t started a conversation with at a party. (Uproxx)
  • C.J. Cregg Allison Janney talks about her different roles on Mom,  and Masters of Sex. (Vulture)
  • Bad news for fans of Scandal… ABC cut the order of episodes from 22 to 18. Well it’s for a good reason… Kerry Washington is going on maternity leave. (TVLIne)
  • After racking up 5 DUI’s a bunch of friends waited for him to pass out in his truck and set up an epic prank. They made a room look like a hospital and told the guy he had been in a coma for 10 years. I don’t even know if this is real but it’s a good watch. (LINK)
  • Hunting Season met it’s kickstarter goal of over $150,000 and will be getting a second season. That’s good news for aspiring TV writers out there like Josh Duboff whose webseries TwentyFive   hit the web.
